Wildlife Photography Workshop at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve
Sudhir Shivaram Photography In collaboration with Pilibhit Tiger Reserve
Join us for a unique and purpose-driven Wildlife Photography Workshop at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, one of India’s most biodiverse and yet lesser-explored tiger reserves. This special workshop is being organized in collaboration with the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, with the mission of promoting sustainable tourism in the region and bringing the spotlight onto the incredible wildlife Pilibhit has to offer.
Why Pilibhit?
Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is a lush mosaic of sal forests, tall grasslands, and rich wetlands. It is home to a thriving population of tigers, leopards, swamp deer, sloth bears, and over 300 species of birds, making it a paradise for wildlife photographers and nature lovers alike. Despite its ecological richness, Pilibhit remains one of India’s best-kept secrets. This workshop is an opportunity to help change that.
Purpose Behind the Workshop
This workshop goes beyond photography. It is a meaningful initiative designed to:
-
Promote sustainable wildlife tourism at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve
-
Support local communities by encouraging responsible tourism that benefits the people living around the forest
-
Donate 100% of the proceeds from the workshop to the welfare of the frontline forest department staff, who work tirelessly to protect the reserve
We believe that conservation and tourism must go hand-in-hand, and that well-managed tourism can provide livelihood opportunities for locals while creating greater awareness about the importance of our forests and wildlife.
All proceeds from this workshop will be donated entirely to the welfare of the frontline forest department staff—the real heroes who tirelessly protect our forests and wildlife, often in challenging conditions. Your participation directly supports their well-being and morale, making your learning journey a meaningful contribution to conservation.
To ensure complete transparency, full details of the donations and how the workshop fees are utilized will be publicly shared post-event. Your participation is a step toward positive change—both for the people and the wildlife of Pilibhit.
By joining this workshop, you are not only investing in your photographic journey but also becoming a part of a meaningful conservation-driven initiative.
